Methodology

Methodology

This page exists so you can reproduce our picks. Every Stack Guide is built from the process below; every tool in every guide is sourced to a vendor page we can link to. When the process fails, the article doesn't ship.

01

How we pick tools

Every tool included in a Stack Guide must:

  • Have publicly listed pricing on a vendor URL we can link to.
  • Be in active use by solo real estate agents (verified via public review aggregates such as G2, Capterra, and r/realtors).
  • Have an affiliate program OR a direct affiliate signup (or be marked transparently as "no commercial relationship").

02

How we verify pricing

Every tool's pricing is checked against the canonical vendor pricing page on the date stamped at the top of each article (the "Pricing verified" stamp). We re-verify monthly and surface any change in a post-update note.

03

What we don't do

  • No first-person testing claims. We do not write "I tested this" or "in our experience." Our claims are sourced from public documentation and reviews.
  • No Review or FAQPage schema on Stack Guides — Google's March 2026 core update penalizes this on affiliate roundups.
  • No paid placement. Our picks are independent of commission rate.

04

Distinctive-data requirement

Every Stack Guide includes at least one piece of category-specific data you won't find in the other 50 articles ranking for the same keyword — a quirky pricing tier, a less-known integration, a workflow tip. If we can't surface that, we don't publish.

05

Editorial review

Every article is reviewed by Parker Lane, editor, before publishing. AI-generated drafts never ship unreviewed.
